Study Objectives

Primary Objectives

On the basis of reports involving Magnetic Stimulation and improvements in a number of other Neurological and/or Psychiatric indications, Pico-Tesla Magnetic Therapies is interested in investigating the effects of exposure to the pico-tesla magnetic fields generated by the Resonator on cognition and executive function in patients with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

Secondary Objectives

As this pilot study is designed to be observational and exploratory, a secondary objective to determine effective field strengths and treatment intervals. If the initial findings through this pilot study are positive, it is intended that a larger follow on study will be implemented, with its design based upon the results of the current proposed pilot study.
